Divergent - Abnegation Housing

Took a trip to one of the sets being built for the movie. I gotta say, the houses resemble that describe in the book. As I was taking a couple snapshots, a guy on the street saw me and ask what kind of construction they were doing. It turned out he's in construction and has never seen that kind of framing. I had to explain that they were just a set for a movie. He was curious so I just gave him some basic info on Divergent. He now wants to pick up a copy for himself. Its one way to get people reading. Anyway, here's the pics.

Movie Filming - Divergent

Well folks, a bit of news. It would seem that the movie, "CatBird" is setting up for filming near one of my jobs. Anyone who knows about, may also know, its a codename. Most movies filmed in Chicago have a codename. The Dark Knight went be Rory's First Kiss. Now, this movie is, in fact Divergent. I'm not going to bore you with all the details about it. You can look that up, yourself. Attached you will find a flyer talking about the closures. I might take some snapshots of the set, if I can later.
